Abstract: ‘Jinlü 2’is a new seedling-edible Chinese cabbage hybrid developed by self-incompatible line BD13-375-4 as a female parent and inbred line BD14-54-2 as a male parent. The plant type is erect. The leaves are dark green，flat，strong glossy，hairless，thick，with rounded apex. The petiole is green and wide flat. It takes about 25 d from sowing to harvest in summer or autumn，while about 35 d in spring or winter. When it is planted in Weifang on August 15th，the 25 d seedling is about 38 cm in height，43 cm in leaf length，18 cm in leaf width，100 g per plant，and has high yield of 32 000 kg • hm-2 . It is resistant to TuMV，downy mildew and soft rot.
